Here, Pung-Waan Resort has been created as a sanctuary for your retreat on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, a tributary of the famous River Kwai, on a vast property covering over 120 acres of land. Our resort is located only 190 km. from Bangkok and 55 km. from downtown Kanchanaburi, which can be easily accessed by private cars, buses and train. Whatever your preference is, be it accommodation or transportation or others, we will be delighted to tailor-make an arrangement for your plan to the best of your satisfaction. We offer a variety of room types in multiple natural settings, carefully designed to bring you close to nature as much as possible. All rooms are styled with modern Thai de’cor with private balconies which open to the garden and/or river, as well as some rooms with open-style bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with ensuite bathrooms with hot & cold shower, air-conditioning, minibar, satellite TV and telephone, in order to provide you with the complete convenience and comfort of your own home. Standard Room (Garden View) : A series of inter-connecting rooms, all with private balconies opening towards a lotus pond. All are on the ground level.

Superior Room ( River View ) : Two-storey building right on the bank of the Kwai Noi River, allowing you to relax with running river as background and to enjoy the river view all day long.

Cottage (Mountain and River View) : Single- and double-bedroom cottages made with native wood, and equipped with private balconies opening towards gardens and the Kwai Noi River. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom offering both enclosed and open-style showers.

Floating House : Various sizes of floating houses in the Kwai Noi River, accommodating up to 6 persons, are available for your choice. All have private balconies opening to the river, and are equipped with an ensuite bathroom with hot & cold showers, air-conditioning and other amenities for the residential comfort of home.

This is our main restaurant serving Thai & International breakfast, lunch & dinner in open atmosphere. The dining tables are set on the cascades of wooden balconies, allowing you to dine under the star along with the cool breezes from the river.


" Chun-Pa " Pool-Side Bar : Opening hours: 14:00 - 18:00 hrs.

Idyllic relaxation spot where you can enjoy cool drinks & snacks by the pool side with panoramic mountain views as your background.

The Lobby Bar : Opening hours: 18:00 - 22:00. Live music starts at 19:00 hrs.

An informal rendezvous place for a get-together with friends or just for relaxing by yourself while sipping delicious drinks before or after dinner.
